With it being Volunteers’ Week we would like to say a big thank you to all our hard working volunteers at Douglas Drive.
Day care volunteers, kitchen volunteers, committee, neighbours, friends and the Friday craft volunteers.
We miss you all hugely at this time and look forward to seeing you all again, as soon as we can.
We took the opportunity with the centre being closed to have a bit of a spruce up.
Main hall, toilet area and coats area all freshly painted… We can’t wait for you all to see it!

Unfortunately, due to the Prime ministers announcement this afternoon, Douglas Drive Day Centre will be unable to open until further notice.
We will of course keep you informed of any change to this situation, but in the meantime, please take care.
In view of the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) we would like to inform you that our Day Care service is still operating .
We receive regular guidance and updates and will inform you immediately should this change.
Stevenage Borough Council transport have informed us that they will not be operating for the next 2 weeks. Whilst our centre is open clients who use this transport, are welcome to attend if you have an alternative way to get to Douglas Drive.
