The Tuesday Stroke Survivors Group is primarily for people who have suffered a Stroke, but also welcomes people living with Parkinson’s Disease, MS and similar conditions.
The purpose of the group is to:
- Reduce isolation,
- Build confidence
- Develop social, physical and self-help skills
- To inform, stimulate and help maintain members independence and wellbeing
- To meet their needs in a caring, supportive environment.
- And to have fun!
Activities suitable for the group are organised and delivered by our activities co-ordinator assisted by our volunteers.
Douglas Drive are affiliated to the Stroke Association meaning we are kept up to date with current news and developments, and can pass these directly on to our clients.
