Douglas Drive have completed the Dementia Friendly Accreditation Scheme through Memory Support Hertfordshire, gaining their Gold Level Certificate!
The process encouraged us to take a look at what we do and our environment, making sure we continue to offer our clients, families and carers the best service possible.
We have volunteering opportunities available here at Douglas Drive.

In connection with Carers Rights Day, an information event for family and friend carers is being held at Stevenage Football Club.
Lots of helpful information available and a chance to meet with other carers over a cuppa.

The day we had been waiting for at Douglas Drive finally arrived!
The team from ‘Waste Not, Want Not’ arrived armed with bags of compost and many wonderful plants to start us off on our gardening journey and helping us with the planting up. You all worked so hard and It was a pleasure to meet you all.
Thank you to the Councillors of Martins Wood and the team at Stevenage Borough Council for organising the tall raised plant container and all the planting for both flower beds… we are very grateful.
It is truly amazing and we are already out there, in this glorious weather, looking after our new flowers…
On International Women’s Day, we want to acknowledge all the wonderful women, and men, we have the privilege of knowing at Douglas Drive.
