Douglas Drive will be holding their annual Macmillan Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on
Friday 25th Sept 2015
The kettle will be on between 10am and 1pm with plenty of sweet treats on offer to tempt the taste buds!
The friends of Douglas Drive will also be holding a craft stall at this time to raise funds for Douglas Drive with lots of cards and gifts for sale.

This summer has been busy for Douglas Drive with our three groups headed off to three different places for their summer trips which spread over three consecutive weeks… phew!
Monday group visited Furzton Lakes in Milton Keynes, Tuesday group popped over to Poplars Garden Centre in Toddington and finally, Wednesday group chilled by the water at Hartford Mill In Huntingdon.
The weather was good to us as were the venues who looked after us well!
And now, time for a rest before starting to plan for next years summer trips!…

We had another successful Stroke Awareness Day yesterday … great to see the place buzzing!
It was lovely to see so many take the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked as this is very important in the prevention of stroke.
The weather was in our favour for the sponsored walk which clients, staff and volunteers took part in.
Final figure raised to be announced as money still coming in.
Many thanks to everyone who supported our event… …we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Douglas Drive would like to thank everyone for their support at our recent Autumn Bazaar. It was a great day and raised an amazing £514.17p for the centre.
If you couldn’t join us then there is a second
chance to catch our craft stall and popular cuddly toy stall this Saturday at the Oval
Community Centre Christmas Fair.

Last week saw our Tuesday Group head off out for the day to Stevenage Leisure Park.
The group met at McDonald’s for a drink before moving across for a game of bowling at Hollywood Bowl and finishing the day with a meal at Frankie & Benny’s.
