Douglas Drive Day Centre are very keen to hear from anyone who would be interested in a couple of hours a week volunteering within our Day Care sessions. 

We are particularly looking for additional volunteers on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Introducing to you our Friends of Douglas Drive Fundraisers. This ‘crafty’ group of ladies meet every Friday 10am – 2pm, producing a variety of craft items to sell and raise funds for the centre.

If you’re into craft and fancy making some new friends whilst supporting our charity, please feel free to join us – All welcome!

Where would we be without our kitchen support volunteers – probably up to our knees in washing up!

Our kitchen volunteers help our wonderful cook with anything from peeling potatoes or making sandwiches to washing pots and loading the dishwasher… We really do appreciate you guys.

Meet out wonderful Wednesday crew who as well as supporting our activities co-ordinator, also provide the clients and staff with refreshments throughout the day which are always gratefully received – thank you ladies 🙂
