The day we had been waiting for at Douglas Drive finally arrived!

The team from ‘Waste Not, Want Not’ arrived armed with bags of compost and many wonderful plants to start us off on our gardening journey and helping us with the planting up. You all worked so hard and It was a pleasure to meet you all.

On International Women’s Day, we want to acknowledge all the wonderful women, and men, we have the privilege of knowing at Douglas Drive.

Clients, carers, friends, families, volunteers, and staff.. the strength, courage, determination and love you show continues to inspire us every day and is one of the many reasons we do what we do here at Douglas Drive..

We are all so looking forward to getting outside and using the bed for seasonal plants and flowers… Roll on the Spring!
